1. How To Use The Online Appointments System
for the first time?
To use the Online Appointments System the following steps must be taken:-
1). If the practice doesn't allow online registration then you must register with
the practice. If online registration is allowed by this practice then you can follow
the "Register" link on the home page.
2). Wait for your registration details. When you are registered for online appointments,
you will receive an email confirming this. The email will also contain your password
to login. Once you have received your registration details you are ready to login
and book appointments.
It is recommended that you change your password as soon as possible.
2. Do I need to register to book an
appointment?
Yes you must be a registered online user to book an appointments online for the
first time. Please refer to
How To Use The
Online Appointments System for more details on how to become a
registered user.
3. How Far In Advance Can I book An Appointment?
This is set by the practice. The system will not allow you to book an appointment
that is too far in advance.
4. How close to an appointment can I book?
This is set by the practice. If the appointment slot is too close, the system will
not allow you to book. In this case phone the practice to book using the number
above.
5. What are the benefits of using this system?
The key benefits of using the Online Appointments System are as follows:-
- Book an appointment 24 hours a day whenever it suits you.
- View previous and current appointments
- Cancel Appointments Online
- Receive Appointment Reminders and Confirmations via email or sms or by voice (where
available in the Practice and you supply a valid contact number.
6. Does it cost anything to book online?
Practices have the option of charging patients in advance, with payments made through
PayPal. Quite often, practices will ask for a deposit for an appointment when booking
online.
7. Will my details be passed on to any other
company?
Once registered your details are confidential and will not be passed on to any other
companies.
8. Why can't I log on to Online Appointments
System?
There are a number of reasons why you can't log on to the Online Appointments System
1). Check that you are registered with the practice.
2). Check your email and password.
Make sure you enter your Username and Password spelling is the correct case. i.e.
gr4d -> GR4D. If you have forgotten your password you can have it reset. Select
the 'Forgotten My Password' option.
9. Once registered do I have to book
all my appointments online?
No, online booking is optional. If you prefer to speak to a receptionist contact
the practice number.
